About Kate Beever

Kate Beever has a degree in percussion from USM and a master’s in Music Psychotherapy from NYU. Her business, Maine Music and Health, helps those with illnesses and disabilities reach their goals through the power of music. Kate has developed music and wellness programs at Maine Medical Center, York Hospital, the Dempsey Center, Boston College, the Portland and Bangor Symphony Orchestras, and advocates for both arts and health through education and policy. Kate is certified in Neurologic Music Therapy, is a trained REMO HealthRhythms facilitator, and serves on the APHA Noise & Health committee.
